Ciel D’Opale, tethered by a weightless expanse of pale blue sky punctuated by an intermittent downey ivory cloud, is an unhurried watercolor walk in the park at noon with a hint of linden blossoms framed by a canopy of spicy brown branches ambitiously reaching across our path.

Ciel D’ Opale throws open a window with the sensation of brief, but bracing crispness of early morning Springtime air against the skin as the first green buds of emerging bulbs are perceptible in the flower beds below. A quick bright burst of mock orange out of which a ripe honeyed fruit emerges is tempered by a faint but distinct impression of nascent green grass. Quickly, the mildly spicy rich sensuousness of cassie imparts the reassuring yet still removed midday warmth of a spring afternoon filled with the promise of forthcoming summer. A feminine mélange of jasmine and abundantly creamy honeysuckle ballasted by a spiced mock orange float upon the grounding warmth of lightly ambered vanillic woods upon which the gentle floral clarity remains distinct.
A disarmingly sophisticated and well chaperoned floral? Yes please.
